At first glance it might not seem that industrial and product design has much to do with the rest of our operations.
We beg to differ.
We work with images and communication. That, in a nutshell, is what we do. And design, in our opinion, is just another form of communication. The communication between the theoretical and the tangible, between form and function, between people and objects. Design is also a mater of realizing an image; of taking the image in the designers head to the one on the paper to the one in the head of the person who uses or views the final product.
The creation of an image begins in the mind. Whether this image winds up realized as a photograph or takes the final step into the physical, and becomes a product or a park bench is merely semantics.
At Superstudio, we work with all forms of design, from product concepts and creation to industrial and furniture design, to graphic design and corporate and brand profiles.
